TERMS.

THE QUOTE.
A GM Movers quote is fixed for thirty days from the date issued. It includes packing (Full Service tier), transit, customs, delivery, and insurance. If the move scope changes after the quote, we re-quote in writing before pickup. We do not invoice for unagreed changes.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT.
25% deposit on booking by bank transfer. Balance fourteen days before pickup. We do not accept card or cash. Late payment may delay your move date.
CANCELLATION.
Cancel up to fourteen days before pickup for a full deposit refund. Within fourteen days, deposit is forfeited. We may cancel only in cases of force majeure (severe weather, ferry suspension, customs closure) and refund all monies or rebook at no extra charge, your choice.
INSURANCE.
Goods-in-transit cover on every move. Standard cover on Shared Slot, enhanced cover on Dedicated Van, maximum standard cover on Full Service. Specific cover limits are stated on your written quote. Higher cover on request, quoted separately. Claims must be reported in writing within seven days of delivery. Pre-existing damage and items packed by the customer (Shared Slot, Dedicated Van) are excluded from cover unless specifically agreed in writing.
CUSTOMS.
We file UK export and destination-country import declarations. You remain the legal exporter and importer. You are responsible for the accuracy of your inventory. Any duty or tax assessed by the destination is your liability — we pay on your behalf and invoice you.
ITEMS WE WILL NOT MOVE.
Cash, jewellery, securities, controlled drugs, perishables, firearms, items contrary to destination law. Pianos, vehicles, fine art are referred to specialists. Full list provided with your quote.
GOVERNING LAW.
England and Wales. Disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
